Glass plate, red kalidascope trinket dish. This beautiful dish is small measuring 3 1/4 inch square and has slightly flanged edges.
This fused glass trinket dish is a new technique of red transparent, red opaque and white opaque glass is cut into various shapes and placed on a solid piece of glass. One edge is a one inch stripe of solid glass of red and white stripe to ground the edge. Due to this technique the opposite edge is slightly irregular as the glass melted together. This process gives this dish a unique quality that would be difficult to replicate.
The dish is 3 1/4 inch square (or almost square) with slightly curved edges. This is similar to a sushi dish. The edges curve about 1/2 inch up when sitting flat. The size of this beauty make it great for any application in the home from office, bedroom, bathroom, to kitchen.
