Glass dragonfly, glass dragonfly window hanger, green glass window hanger, dragonfly suncatcher, green dragonfly suncatcher.


This dragonfly will be a great addition to any window or wall, or any dragonfly collection. It will fit in at any time of year, as a Christmas tree ornament to a spring and summer suncatcher in the window. This dragonfly can hang in a window of a classroom. This dragonfly is sturdy and just the right size, it is 3" from head to tail, 4 1/2" from wing to wing, and about 1/4" thick and weighs 1/6 oz. It easily hangs from a suction cup hook on the window.

This beautiful dragonfly is made from crushed glass placed in a mold. The wing veins are outlined in black and the body and edges of the wings are a brilliant transparent green. The green is placed mostly around the edges of the wings and body, the rest of the wings are a clear. The glass is transparent and is beautiful when the sun is shining or a Christmas tree light is shining threw it. There is a hanger melted into the wing of the dragonfly and is placed into the mold prior to firing in the kiln for security.

These are made and designed by me in my personal home smoke free studio. Measurements may vary slightly due to hand measurements and the organic nature of the glass, but I try to be as accurate as possible.
