Red jasper is such a versatile stone in healing qualities as well as color. This statement necklace has that appeal. The teardrop shape of the red jasper is so unique and unusual and it is strung on a beautiful cord that is made to be adjustable to allow the wearer to have the necklace as long or short as they want with a maximum length of 30 inches. Just an easy pull of the ends of the cord and you can shorten the length.

This statement necklace is just classy. The focal bead is a large teardrop of red jasper. This specific focal bead has all the classic markings of jasper. It has spots of mild green weaved into the stone. It resembles freckles of green and clear and many other different colors and textures. The red jasper pendant is rounded edges on top and a flat back. The large teardrop bead is hand wired with flat sterling silver wire with a 8mm red jasper bead and a hand wired loop. This entire focal bead cluster is strung on black waxed linen cording. The waxed linen cording is supple and stiff all at the same time. The finishing touch on this necklace is the slider knots that make this necklace adjustable by just pulling the cord. It can be worn at any length you want.

Red Jasper is a member of the quartz family. It is considered a sacred stone, or a stone that has held meaning throughout dozens of cultures. The strong red color and jasper can be associated with luck, empowerment and self confidence. Red jasper is a beautiful stone and it is fun to research.

The linen cording is waxed to prevent fraying of the ends and the knots are slide knots to make the cording adjustable. I use high quality materials and use exceptional technique.
